Our agile Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) team is based in Prague and is part of the Digital Enablement department which engages in Big Data, Data Science, Data Analytics activities and ERP Implementation related services. Our team delivers projects for clients in the Czech Republic as well as internationally–primarily in Germany–and develops data and technology solutions that drive better business decisions and optimize costs. Leveraging advanced technologies, we implement the right controls, processes, and structures to ensure decisions are based on accurate information and resources are used efficiently.
Vlastimil Košík leads the End-to-End Planning in PwC Czech Republic. Overally team focuses on topics from Finance to Supply Chain & Operations. Throughout his professional career he has had a chance to hold various positions as a developer, business analyst with later stages moving to solution architecture, project leadership and people management. Outside of the typical working hours he likes to spend his time in wilder parts of nature, ideally kayaking and fishing.
As a Junior Data & Business Performance Consultant, you will become a part of a small but quickly growing team of highly experienced and specialized experts in various areas of Enterprise Performance Management. You will:
Work on projects designing and implementing solutions for strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting across finance, sales, and other key enterprise functions
Help analyse client-specific business processes
Assist in defining the steps and roadmap for successful system implementation—preparing workshop materials, documenting action items, or keeping project plans and issue logs up to date
Prepare user documentation
Support knowledge transfer to client key users by creating learning and testing materials or demonstrating system functionalities
University degree, ideally with focus on Economics, Finance or IT
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Communicative English and German
Fluent (written and spoken) communication in Czech is a must
Experience with data analytics
Understanding basic IT & Finance / Controlling concepts is great starting point
Team player but at the same time ability to work independently
Nice to have
Previous consulting experience
Controlling background or qualification
Experience with gathering business requirements (business objectives, user needs and goals, supporting metrics, technical specifications, data sources)
Knowledge or hands-on experience with BI solutions like MS Power BI, QlikSense, Tableau or EPM technologies like Jedox, SAP Analytics Cloud, Tagetik, Board or IBM Planning Analytics etc.
