What You'll Do
- Must have an understanding of modern Java (JDK 17/21/25+) features such as virtual threads and pattern matching, proficiency in the Spring Boot ecosystem, and exposure to building cloud-native microservices with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Must have knowledge of building serverless applications using TypeScript via the AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) and the AWS SDK, with exposure to deploying full-stack solutions through AWS Lambda, Amazon DynamoDB, and AWS Amplify.
- Exposure to Oracle/DB2/PostgreSQL/Stored procedure/SQL development.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in a computer science, information technology, computer related discipline with 6 months to 1 year experience
- Must be willing and able to work in 2nd shifts (3:00 PM IST to 12:00 AM IST) and occasional weekends as required.
- Must be willing to work from Bangalore office location minimum 3 days in a week.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies and takes pride in how fast they develop working software
- Exposure to object-oriented design and coding skills across a variety of platforms Java/J2EE, SOA/Web Services, Spring Boot framework, REST API, JSON, HTML/HTML5, CSS3, XML, AJAX, jQuery, JavaScript, AngularJS, Selenium, Python and RabbitMQ.
- Should have an understanding of agile methodology, be a strong believer in adding incremental value to business in short sprints.
- Proficient in ReactJS – including hooks, components, and state management libraries like Redux.
- Exposure to React libraries and frameworks such as React Router, React Bootstrap.
- Proficiency in working with any Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) – Writing queries, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions
- Proficient in Rest API, Spring boot
- Docker, GitHub, Jenkins – create basis pipelines, understanding of Platform as a Service (PaaS) for application hosting.
- Knowledge of XML, JSON, YAML, XSD, WSD
Secondary Skills:
- Knowledge of Apache Camel, Drools, Apigee
- Knowledge of APM tool analysis
- Knowledge in AngularJS, Selenium, Python
- Agile, JIRA, Confluence
- Understanding of Static code analysis tools like Sonar, Conducting code reviews.
- Knowledge of AWS cloud services specifically EC2, S3, AWS Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, Lambda, Step Functions.
Soft Skills:
- Must be able to work in a team environment with a “can do” attitude capable of overcoming difficult challenges.
- Self-motivated, with keen attention to detail and excellent judgment skills
- Must have excellent writing and communication skills, strong communicator with ability to maintain open communication with internal employees, contractors, managers, 3rd parties, and customers as needed. Able to prioritize and drive to results with a high emphasis on quality.
- Good problem-solving skills.
