The Junior Data Analyst supports Business Intelligence initiatives by maintaining reports, resolving data-related issues, and assisting with ad hoc analysis. This role helps ensure data accuracy and timely reporting while contributing to ongoing improvements in reporting processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable working with data in a fast-paced environment. This position also provides exposure to more complex BI projects through hands-on support and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage assigned tickets within the Zoho queue, ensuring timely resolution of requests
Troubleshoot and resolve issues or implement minor enhancements in existing reports
Perform quality assurance checks to ensure data accuracy prior to stakeholder review
Generate simple, ad hoc reports based on business needs
Support ongoing reporting and data maintenance efforts across BI tools
Shadow senior team members on meetings and complex data projects to build technical skills
Complete required trainings and maintain knowledge of internal systems and processes
All other duties assigned by your manager
Long-Term Impact:
Support the development of scalable and reliable BI processes
Help improve efficiency by identifying and resolving data or reporting inefficiencies
Contribute to freeing up senior BI resources to focus on proactive analytics and automation
Qualifications:
Required
Bachelor’s degree
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Experience with SQL
Experience working with start-ups
Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other reporting tools
Exposure to Power Automate or Power Apps
Working Conditions:
Remote work. Standard office environment with occasional travel per business need.
May involve weekday evening hours to accommodate team member schedules.
Ability to work during normal business hours in Central or Eastern time zones.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for long periods of time.
Fine finger coordination required for typing, pressing objects such as utilizing laptop/mouse for communication and documentation purposes.
Ability to view computer screen monitor.
