Junior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)

Join us as a Junior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to build and maintain the resilient cloud infrastructure that keeps our platform running at scale. You will contribute to the reliability, performance and security of our systems while growing your skills across a modern, cloud-native stack.

YOUR DAILY ADVENTURES WILL INCLUDE:

• Managing and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring and logging stacks
• Designing architectures and standards for large-scale distributed systems
• Performing service capacity planning, cost analysis, and system performance tuning
• Planning and executing migrations of key internal services
• Automating and simplifying operational toil through scripting and tooling
• Supporting and coaching fellow engineers on infrastructure topics, best practices, and platform developments

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:

• You have foundational experience with a cloud provider, ideally AWS (EC2, ELB, RDS, S3, IAM, Systems Manager)
• You are comfortable working with container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon ECS or EKS
• You have hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Packer or Ansible
• You can write scripts in Bash or Python to solve operational problems
• You have a solid understanding of Unix/Linux systems and networking fundamentals (routing, VPNs, IPv4/IPv6)
• You are familiar with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git
• You take ownership of your work and drive tasks forward independently
