Role overview:
Reporting to the Global Chargeback Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the daily management of chargebacks and ensuring accurate processing of acquirer reports. You’ll follow established procedures, liaise with card schemes and customers, and take ownership of resolving queries by collaborating across departments.
This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Flexibility and a proactive approach are essential to meet departmental targets and deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced, global environment.
What you will do:
Assist with the daily management of Chargebacks and work as a key member of the Team.
Follow set and agreed procedures to complete all daily tasks, in line with current and Industry best practice and service level agreements (SLA).
Liaise with Card Schemes and Customers to handle queries.
Take ownership of the resolution of issues/queries by interacting and communicating with other colleagues/ departments.
Process and reconcile daily Acquirer Reports, as well as other reporting requirements, ensuring that the information is accurate.
Demonstrate a willingness to be flexible in discharging other ad hoc duties and meeting the requirements of the Payments Team when required.
Providing reports and analysis to Senior Management.
Providing general administrative support and cover to other staff for planned and unplanned absences.
Be proactive in achieving the targets of the Payments Department.
Any other such duties that may be required of you.
Who you are:
Computer Literate – comfortable working with excel.
Work well within a team as well as on their own initiative.
Strong numeric skills with an attention to detail.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritise work in order to meet deadlines.
Must be able to communicate well and support key stakeholders and departments.
Ability to be flexible within a fast growing global company.

Proven time management and the ability to deliver to tight deadlines.
Must display initiative and a common sense approach.
Previous experience in a Chargeback Acquiring role is not essential.
Third level qualification or experience within the financial services sector is advantageous, but not essential.
