Job Description
The successful incumbent in this role will work within the IT Hardware Asset Management (HAM) Team and is responsible for supporting the management and optimization of an organization’s assets, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
This role involves monitoring asset performance, maintaining accurate records, and assisting in lifecycle management.
They will work closely with senior managers and other departments to implement asset strategies, track utilization, and support decision-making through data analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and Analysis: Conducting basic research and analysis on market trends, asset performance, and investment opportunities.
- Data Management: Assisting in the collection, organization, and maintenance of data related to assets.
- Reporting: Preparing initial drafts of reports and presentations for senior managers and clients.
- Support: Providing administrative and operational support to senior asset managers and support to the Advisor journey.
- Learning and Development: Continuously learning about asset management practices, financial markets, and investment strategies.
- Asset Life Cycle: Support, manage and maintain assets through the entire life cycle.
- Collaborate: With finance, operations, and IT teams.
Requirements:
- Experience with IT Asset Management automated systems, such as Service Now
- ITIL Foundations V4 Certification
- Knowledge of Hardware Asset Management Life Cycle
Preferred:
- ITIL – ITAM Certification
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent diploma or certifications in the specialized IT fields
Competencies:
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in asset management tools and MS Excel.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of financial principles and asset valuation.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
