The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a junior software engineer who wants to learn and grow their expertise in analytics systems while working on innovative programs that support our nation’s defense. Join us for this exciting and challenging opportunity as a member of an Agile Scrum Team focused on delivering analytics capabilities as part of a large program team that builds and supports US government financial management systems. Responsibilities:
Participate on an Agile team in the planning, design, development, and support of Qlik Sense Analytics applications.
Support data integration and transformation using Qlik load scripts, SQL, and ETL logic.
Work closely with business analysts and subject matter experts to understand functional requirements.
Design, develop, unit test, debug, document, and maintain program code.
Test and validate dashboard functionality and data integrity during development cycles.
Deliver development efforts that result in well organized and structured deliverables aimed at being easy to understand by others on the development team.
Articulate ideas and communicate verbally and in writing task status, unit test results, technical concepts, issues, and questions with the team
Participate in performance tuning and optimization of Qlik data models and dashboards.
Stay current with Qlik best practices, new features, and updates to enhance application performance and usability.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline or equivalent work experience
Relevant academic or work experience
Experience with SQL and relational data
Must be local to Washington DC commute area and be willing and able to work at client site, with potential for some remote work.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD Security Clearance
Must be US citizen
Desired:
Experience with web visualization or analytical tools
Experience with RESTful, GraphQL APIs
Experience with DevOps platform (i.e., Azure DevOps, GitLab, Atlassian Suite, Digital.ai)
Security+ CE certification

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$61,100 - $122,200
