UnspecifiedBuilds structural analysis models to ensure designs meet structural design criteria margins for damage tolerance, durability, strength allowable and control of structural vibration.
Designs, develops and tests metallic or non-metallic structures or materials and their related fabrication processes for use in engineering designs.
Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of basic scope and complexity.
Communicate problems, issues, and opportunities to peers and supervision.
Use and validate software (SW) and continuous integration (CI) tools to solve problems.
Maintain awareness of assigned tasks and activities related to product metrics.
Bachelor's degree in engineering aerospace, Mechanical Engineer or equivalent related degree and less of 2 years of experience.
Hands-on experience with classical hand calculation methods for aerospace structural analysis, including stress, strain, and load analysis.
Practical experience with FEA tools such as NASTRAN, PATRAN, or equivalent, including setting up models, meshing, and interpreting results.
Knowledge of structural materials (composites and metallics) and/or experience in structural testing or material characterization.
Understanding of load paths and airframe design, with demonstrated ability to apply design principles for metal and composite structures.
Strong technical writing skills, including preparing reports, documentation, and technical presentations.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel—including pivot tables and formulas, PowerPoint) for analysis, reporting, and presentations.
Effective communication and presentation skills, with experience explaining technical concepts to peers, supervisors, or cross-functional teams.
Teamwork and collaboration experience, ideally in multi-location or international projects.
70% in English, both written and spoken, with the ability to produce technical documents and deliver presentations.
Possession of a valid travel visa for the USA for attending trainings, meetings, and events.
Previous experience in Nacelle components
FEM, Nastran /Patran, ANSYS, Hand Calculations
Basic Composites (CFRP)
