Stress Engineer Jr. Conducts analysis and follows procedures to develop design options or recommendations for structures, systems and components. Formulates mathematical models or other methods of computer analysis to develop, evaluate, or modify design, according to customer engineering requirements. Analyzes damage tolerance, durability, design allowable and structural modeling to ensure a high quality product. Performs structural engineering analysis which may include dynamics and loads, stability and stress fatigue and thermal analysis to ensure scientific principles are applied and the resulting product meets structural engineering specifications.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineer

  • +1 year experience in engineering

  • Good understanding of load paths and various aspects of airframe design using metals and composites.

  • Good technical writing and PC skills with proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of basic scope and complexity.

  • Expresses problems, issues, and opportunities to peers and supervision.

  • Uses and validates SW and CI tools to solve problems. Awareness of assigned tasks and activities on product metrics.

  • Good communication and presentation skills with the ability to work closely as a team with other international locations.

  • Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

  • Candidates must have a current travel visa to enter the USA for training and event attendance purposes.

  • FEM, Nastran /Patran, ANSYS, Hand Calculations

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Previous experience in EBU & Nacelle components
