Team Overview and Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Engineering team.
Based in Cariacica, Brazil, and reporting to the Accessories Manager (Engineering), you will participate daily in technical and administrative activities in accordance with established policies, guidelines, strategies, and legislation.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Prepare technical documents;
  • Support the development of subsea equipment and umbilical accessories;
  • Produce technical drawings (AutoCAD or SolidWorks);
  • Create general arrangements (single-line diagrams);
  • Interpret international standards (in English);
  • Read customer drawings and specifications (usually in English);
  • Use corporate software such as SAP and CA;
  • Participate in the supplier qualification process (for accessories);
  • Collaborate with the team in reviewing documents.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are seeking a professional with the following skills and motivations:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering;
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in designing, drafting or specifying subsea equipment such as UTA, SUTA, DUTA, SDU, PLEM, PLET, manifolds, or similar systems;
  • Interest in technical and administrative activities;
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (mainly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint);
  • Advanced skills in AutoCAD and SolidWorks;
  • Advanced English;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Initiative to implement improvements and mitigate risks;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team;
  • Knowledge of programming or Ansys will be considered an advantage.

Com sede em Cariacica, Brasil, reportando-se ao Gerente de Acessórios (Engenharia), você participará diariamente das atividades técnicas e administrativas de acordo com as políticas, diretrizes, estratégias e legislação estabelecidas.

Funções e Responsabilidades

  • Elaborar documentos técnicos;
  • Apoiar as atividades de desenvolvimento de equipamento submarinos e acessórios para umbilicais;
  • Produzir desenhos técnicos (AutoCAD ou SolidWorks);
  • Criar arranjos gerais (diagramas unifilares);
  • Interpretar normas internacionais (em inglês);
  • Ler desenhos e especificações de clientes (geralmente em inglês);
  • Utilizar os softwares corporativos, como SAP e CA;
  • Atuar no processo de qualificação de fornecedores (para acessórios);
  • Colaborar com a equipe na revisão de documentos.

Quem estamos procurando?

Buscamos um profissional com as seguintes competências e motivações:

  • Formação em Engenharia Mecânica;
  • Experiência mínima de 2 anos em projetar, fazer desenhos ou especificações, de equipamentos submarinos como UTA, SUTA, DUTA, SDU, PLEM, PLET, manifolds, ou sistemas similares;
  • Interesse em atividades técnicas e administrativas;
  • Bons conhecimentos do pacote Office (principalmente Excel, Word e PowerPoint);
  • Domínio avançado de AutoCAD e SolidWorks;
  • Inglês avançado;
  • Boa capacidade de comunicação;
  • Iniciativa para implementar melhorias e mitigar riscos;
  • Excelente relacionamento interpessoal;
  • Facilidade para trabalhar em equipe.
  • Conhecimento em programação ou Ansys será considerado um diferencial;
