We are looking for an enthusiastic Jr. FP&A Data Analyst to join the Finance team at Grover, full-time and minimum 3 days per week (Tuesday-Thursday) at our Berlin HQ.

As a Junior FP&A Data Analyst, you will sit at the intersection of data and finance, supporting the FP&A team with data-driven insights, automated reporting, and performance analysis. Reporting to the Director of Controlling / FP&A, you will work with large datasets to build dashboards, improve data workflows, and support key business decisions. This role offers strong exposure to both technical analytics and business performance, making it ideal for someone looking to grow in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

🎯  What you will contribute:

  • Build and maintain dashboards (Tableau / Power BI) to track key financial and operational KPIs.
  • Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL and Python.
  • Support FP&A with data-driven insights on revenue, costs, and unit economics.
  • Automate and optimize reporting processes to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Develop data models to support forecasting, scenario analysis, and performance tracking.
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and business opportunities through data analysis.
  • Support cross-functional teams with ad-hoc analyses and data requests.

🤝 What you bring:

  • Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience: 0–2 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar role (internships count!). Experience working with large, unstructured datasets, including a foundational understanding of financial and business KPIs would be a plus.
  • Excel fluency: Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs); experience with VBA is a plus.
  • SQL Proficiency: Intermediate skills with the ability to write complex queries, perform multi-table joins, and handle data cleaning.
  • Python Skills: Proficiency in Python for data analysis, specifically using libraries like Pandas and NumPy to manipulate datasets and generate visualizations.
  • Data Visualization: Hands-on experience building dashboards and reports in Tableau or Power BI.
  • Analytical Mindset: A strong ability to troubleshoot data discrepancies and translate complex datasets into actionable business insights.
  • Communication: Fluency in English (written and verbal); German language skills are a significant plus.
