Position Overview
As a Salesforce QA, you will ensure the quality and integrity of Salesforce applications through meticulous analysis and testing. Your primary responsibility will be to validate complex customizations and integrations, manage risks, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive excellence. You will play a crucial role in embedding quality from the early design stages, ensuring that Salesforce solutions meet both business needs and technical standards.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Salesforce QA, you will:
- Analyze and Validate: Review business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria specifically for Salesforce environments to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Quality Design: Design, develop, and maintain robust test plans and scenarios (functional and non-functional) tailored to the Salesforce platform.
- Customization Testing: Validate advanced Salesforce customizations, including Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Integration Excellence: Perform end-to-end integration testing with external systems, including APIs, middleware, and third-party applications.
- Release Management: Execute rigorous regression testing for Salesforce seasonal releases, patch deployments, and internal sprints.
- Defect Governance: Identify, log, and track defects using tools like Azure DevOps, prioritizing them based on business impact and technical risk.
- Collaborative Agile: Engage actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, providing quality sign-off recommendations and supporting UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
Required Skills and Qualifications
Must-have Skills:
- Act as a quality reference for Salesforce practices, ensuring the platform's stability across complex initiatives.
- Deep expertise in testing the Salesforce ecosystem (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Industry Clouds).
- Ability to lead quality planning for integrated systems, identifying systemic risks in Salesforce-to-external-app flows.
- Proven experience in analyzing technical Salesforce components (Apex, LWC) from a QA perspective.
- Strong influence on product decisions by representing quality, testability, and platform reliability.
Essential Technical Skills:
- Solid experience with Salesforce testing methodologies and platform-specific tools.
- Proficiency in testing APIs and integrations (REST/SOAP).
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Governor Limits and platform best practices.
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience with automated testing for Salesforce (e.g., Copado, Provar, or Selenium).
