The Principal Architect will lead the design and implementation of a modern data architecture to support the migration from legacy systems to Snowflake. This role requires a deep understanding of data architecture, cloud technologies, and best practices in data management.
Responsibilities:
- Design and oversee the implementation of the target Snowflake architecture, ensuring it meets performance, scalability, and security requirements.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing data systems and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data ingestion strategies and governance frameworks.
- Lead the architecture review process, incorporating feedback from the data team and business users.
- Establish best practices for data integrity, cost efficiency, and performance optimization.
Requirements:
- Advanced English level: excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Architect, with a strong focus on cloud data solutions (preferably Snowflake).
- Expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and data governance.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
