As CI&T grows, we seek a seasoned Senior Data Analyst to lead data-driven solutions for our customers within a team driving AI transformation in software engineering (productivity, quality, and value).
Responsibilities:
Data Collection and Analysis
Lead end-to-end analyses, prioritize demand, and drive adoption of insights across engineering and product.
Develop and maintain executive, decision-oriented dashboards focused on software delivery, AI adoption, and outcomes.
Data Modeling and Visualization
Build clear, informative DX and Power BI visualizations and reports.
Validate and enhance dimensional models aligned with reporting needs (engineering, product).
Perform data quality validation and reconciliation between source systems and the warehouse.
Build executive dashboards for finance and operations; extend to engineering metrics (e.g., DORA/SPACE, cycle time, throughput, quality).
Contribute to financial reporting for PE investors and board meetings, including ROI of AI initiatives.
Define and standardize KPIs for AI-in-engineering transformation (adoption, productivity, quality, risk).
Work directly with operations and engineering leadership to gather and prioritize requirements.
Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Data Quality Assurance
Ensure data integrity and quality by identifying and resolving discrepancies and errors.
Collaboration
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Platform, Product, Operations) and influence decisions with objective, data-backed insights.
Documentation
Maintain concise documentation of metrics, processes, lineage, and results.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Data/BI Analyst leading high-impact initiatives end to end.
Advanced SQL for validation and ad-hoc analysis; Python optional.
Power BI and DX (complex executive dashboards).
Experience with financial reporting and analysis (P&L, operational KPIs, financial metrics); board-/PE-level dashboards.
Familiarity with software engineering and its metrics (e.g., DORA/SPACE), CI/CD telemetry, Git/issue tracker data, and measuring AI-assisted development impact (e.g., Cursor/LLM usage, quality, and productivity).
Ability to translate business and engineering requirements into robust reporting solutions.
Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.
Knowledge of database management systems and data warehousing; governance is a plus.
