MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. Must be licensed as a Physician Assistant in the State of WV.
2. Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant.
3. Current ACLS, PALS, BLS, and ATLS certification required

1. Renders health care services to patients consistent with education, training, and experience as an advanced practice nurse
2. Receives patients, obtains health histories, performs physical examinations, develops diagnoses, and treatment plans, prescribes medications, orders and interprets laboratory, pathology, x-ray tests and other clinical data
3. Obtains and prepares specimens for laboratory testing
4. Performs or assists in laboratory testing procedures consistent with education, skills, and training
5. Gives injections and immunizations
6. Sutures and performs biopsies and electrocautery consistent with education, skills, and training
7. Provides patient counseling
8. Discusses other health care resources with patients and their families and refer patients, where appropriate
9. Makes arrangements or assists with arrangement, for patients in need of more sophisticated diagnostic or treatment modalities than those offered by the Clinic
10. Provides emergency care services within the range of education, skills, and experience
11. Distributes medical supplies and dispenses and prescribes medications, including prescriptive medication within the range of education, skills, and experience
12. Supplies general health care information.
13. Maintains confidentiality of patient records
