Coherent Solutions is seeking a motivated Junior Java Developer to join our dynamic team. You will be involved in feature development, database integration, and enhancing existing functionality. What You'll Do

  • Develop new features and improve existing functionality in Java-based applications;
  • Work with relational databases; write and optimize SQL queries;
  • Participate in code reviews and follow established best practices;
  • Collaborate with international teams and communicate effectively in English;
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of microservices and RESTful APIs;

Job Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Java 17+;
  • Experience with the Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Security, Data) and Spring Boot;
  • Hands-on experience with Hibernate/JPA;
  • Good understanding of SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL);
  • Proficiency with Git;
  • Familiarity with Maven or Gradle;
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher (required for communication with international teams);
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn;
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a distributed team environment;
