Lead a team to deliver a first class service
 

The Japan New Equipment Value Stream leader is a key leadership role that drive on-time delivery, profit and loss, and customer satisfaction for new equipment. Overseeing day-to-day project management requirements across all factory project and orders, contribute business growth of Valve business in Japan
 

As a Japan NE Value Stream Leader, you will be responsible for:
 

  • Develop and execute the New Equipment business strategy aligned with corporate goals.
  • Work with plant manager and cross-functional teams to execute the operating plan in terms of Revenue, Margin, and On-time deliveries.
  • Manage P&L for the New Equipment business unit, including forecasting, budgeting, and cost control.
  • NE Business regular reporting to HQ
  • Drive Margin growth through change order, cost management and execution strategy
  • Represent the New Equipment function in S&OP and strategic planning processes.
  • Managing and mentoring a team of Project Managers for New Equipment and MRO Valves orders
  • Monitoring order entry metrics and ensure timely booking and the launch of new orders according to RedZone frameworks.
  • Implementing global PMO processes to ensure operational rigor and discipline inline with global framework.
  • Monitoring metrics and conduct regular review rhythms, drive PMs to meet targets.
  • Setting up appropriate operating rhythms with PMs and OTR cross functional peers
  • Being primary customer contact for critical or escalated issues on orders. Escalating critical situations to leadership to fulfil customer contract requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

To be successful in this role you will:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven leadership in managing P&L and cross-functional teams.
  • Customer oriented mindset and customer facing experience
  • Strong understanding of supply chain and operations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems, digital transformation, and continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Have at least 10 years of working experience in which no lesser than 5 years are industrial project management experience within Oil & Gas Industry or Power Generation industry.
  • Have at least 5 years of team management experience.
  • Be willing and able to travel up to 30 % of the time
  • Have good English proficiency and native in Japanese.
