The job

The Operations Team plays a vital role at The Jameson Distillery, ensuring that every visitor experience runs smoothly. In this role, you will carry out a variety of front-of-house and back-of-house tasks, including preparing and setting up spaces, organising equipment, replenishing stock, and maintaining presentation standards across visitor areas.

With the support of our comprehensive training, you will also have the opportunity to share your knowledge of Jameson’s incredible portfolio and family of brands, offering guidance and advice to our visitors to enhance their experience.

About you

We are looking for hardworking individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in delivering high standards in everything they do. You will have a team-first mindset, working collaboratively to ensure operations run efficiently while supporting an exceptional visitor experience.

You should share our passion for heritage and storytelling, inspiring excitement for our products. Previous experience in hospitality, such as bars or hotels, is beneficial but not essential. Most importantly, you are proactive, reliable, and eager to contribute to creating memorable experiences for every guest.

Essential Criteria

  • Ability to work to high standards in a fast-paced, operational environment
  • Strong work ethic with a proactive, hands-on approach
  • Team-first mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively
  • Willingness to carry out both front-of-house and back-of-house duties
  • Ability to follow procedures and maintain consistently high presentation standards
  • Customer-focused attitude when interacting with visitors
  • Willingness and ability to learn product knowledge and promote Jameson’s portfolio and family of brands
  • Interest in heritage brands and pride in representing premium products

 

Desirable Criteria

  • Previous experience in a similar operational role
  • Experience working in bars, hotels, or hospitality environment
  • Experience supporting visitor or guest-facing operations
  • Familiarity with stock control, set-up, or event preparation
