Your Role:
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Embedded Software Testing who will play a key technical leadership role in Verification and Validation (V&V) of ADAS / Active Safety systems using HIL Simulators.
You will be responsible for system and software functional testing, HIL test strategy, automation, and debugging, while collaborating closely with system, software, hardware, and vehicle teams to drive quality and innovation across the product lifecycle.
Mandatory / Must-Have Requirements:
Senior Software Engineer with 3–5+ years of relevant experience in Embedded Software Testing / Validation
Strong hands‑on experience with ADAS and Active Safety systems (must have)
Extensive hands‑on experience with HIL Simulators (must have)
Strong experience with dSPACE toolchain (must have)
Working experience with IPG CarMaker and dSPACE products
Experience in test environment setup, integration, bring‑up, and debugging
Communication protocols knowledge: CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet
Automated test frameworks using HIL simulators (dSPACE / Vector / IPG)
Strong exposure to MATLAB / Simulink, Python, C / C++
Experience in system-level and software-level verification and validation
Experience driving A‑SPICE compliant test processes (requirements tracing, reviews, audits)
Good To Have (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience with Linux system administration and troubleshooting
Experience with RTOSes such as QNX or VxWorks
Experience with QEMU or commercial emulation platforms
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with Driving Simulators (CARLA)
Test development at SW Container and interface level
Ethernet TCP/IP and UDP protocol know‑how
Experience with QEMU–Docker based environments
Experience in Level 1 / Level 2 vECU development
Experience testing SoA / SOME‑IP based architectures
Strong exposure to ADAS automotive domain
Verification & Validation of System‑level testing for Active Safety products
Experience in physical layer testing for Ethernet / CAN / LIN / FlexRay
Polarion or equivalent requirements management tool experience
Knowledge of Functional Safety standards (ISO 26262) and testing practices
Your Background:
Key ingredients for succeeding in this Senior Software Engineer role include:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering
(IT / EE / EC / CS / Instrumentation / Robotics)
Solid understanding of Software Architecture fundamentals
Experience with tools such as TRACE32 / Lauterbach, CANoe, Kvaser, QFIL, Renesas
Strong programming skills in Python and CAPL
Preferred programming exposure: C and C++
Active participation in design, development, and review of automated testing solutions
Technical ownership and contribution to process improvements and innovation programs
Experience working in an Agile development environment
Strong team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills
