Job Summary

FTE Mexicana S.A. de C.V. is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated IT Trainee to join our dynamic technology team. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across various IT functions, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute to the successful operation of our company's technological infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities

* Provide first-level technical support to employees, resolving basic hardware and software issues, and escalating more complex problems to senior IT staff.
* Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
* Support network operations, including basic troubleshooting of connectivity issues and monitoring network performance.
* Contribute to the management and organization of IT assets and inventory.
* Learn and assist with the administration of user accounts, permissions, and security protocols.
* Participate in IT projects, assisting with research, documentation, and implementation tasks as directed.
* Develop and maintain basic documentation for IT processes, procedures, and common solutions.
* Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices through self-study and internal training.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the IT Manager or senior IT staff.

Job Qualifications

* Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, Linux a plus), and common software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
* Familiarity with fundamental networking concepts (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi).
* Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
* A strong desire to learn and grow within the IT field.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
* Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
