But we don’t just keep the engine running—we push the tech boundaries of what’s possible, alongside teams from Lisbon, London, and New York. Here in Prague, we have teams specializing in frontend development (including mobile, TV, and web), backend development (Java), DevOps & Platform Engineering, AWS, and data science.
What is the plot?
Our business operations team is a tight-knit group of professionals covering office management, HR, recruitment, employer branding, and finance. We make sure everything runs smoothly for our colleagues in the Prague tech hub.
We are looking for a dedicated IT Tech support professional to join the business operations team and deliver an outstanding technology experience for our colleagues.
What role will you play?
As part of the Business Operations team, you’ll be the go-to person for all IT-related needs, ensuring the smooth operation of equipment and devices for our Prague employees.
Your daily tasks:
Technical Support: First point of contact for issues with laptops, software, mobile devices, and video-conference equipment.
IT Onboarding & Offboarding: Prepare and set up equipment for new joiners and manage returns when people leave.
Video Conferencing: Check meeting rooms daily, run test calls, and ensure presentations work smoothly.
Event Support: Provide technical assistance for town halls, meetups, conferences and other events.
Network: Monitor Wi-Fi and connectivity, troubleshoot issues, support network hardware, and act as remote hands for the UK networking team.
Print Services: Restock supplies, monitor printer performance, help colleagues connect to printers and resolve printing issues, and coordinate fixes with the UK team.
Workspace Tech Maintenance: Regularly and proactively check the office for tech issues, replace equipment, and set up desk hardware.
Hardware Procurement: Work with the UK IT team to manage hardware orders, deliveries, stock, and inventory updates.
Instruction Manuals: Create clear, simple guides for employees covering IT equipment and related processes.
Team Support: Assist other teams and members of the Business Operations team as needed.
What skills do you need to play your role well?
Proven onsite IT support experience: you’ve already handled day-to-day tech issues in an office environment.
Hands-on with both Mac OS X and Windows: confident in setting up, and troubleshooting laptops on both platforms.
Strong Microsoft 365 knowledge: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, SharePoint, and the ability to help others use them effectively.
Good understanding of networking basics: able to troubleshoot Wi-Fi, connectivity, and related hardware issues.
Willingness to work onsite in Karlín five days a week: this is primarily an in-office role, not remote.
Customer-focused mindset: friendly, helpful, and proactive when solving problems for colleagues.
Curiosity for new technologies: you enjoy learning and keeping up with modern IT tools.
Organized and detail-oriented: especially when managing IT equipment, stock, and inventory.
Fluent in Czech and English: able to communicate comfortably with local colleagues and the wider international team.
