The Silicon Labs IT team is a close-knit group of global IT professionals, many of them generalists, with a broad understanding of transformational technology initiatives and a passion for innovation and delivering business value through technology. Responsibilities
Our IT Service Delivery Team supports employees across a range of functions and sites, serving as a friendly and reliable Service Desk resource for day-to-day support needs. In this role, you will often be a first point of contact, helping create a positive support experience while resolving technical issues. Some of your responsibilities may include:
Provide friendly, customer-focused technical support for submitted tickets and walk-up requests.
Assist team members with a variety of IT-related tasks and collaborate with other teams to support their needs.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of support processes and documentation.
Minimum Qualifications:
An IT degree or equivalent combination of training and/or 1-2 years’ experience in a related field
Excellent interpersonal skills with strong problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication skills, including verbal communication and active listening.
Critical thinking skills for handling walk-up requests with professionalism and care.
Experience with artificial intelligence (AI) powered tools and technologies used to enhance productivity, analysis, and decision-making.
The following qualifications will be considered as a plus:
Background in Information Systems.
Experience with technical support or help desk / service desk environments.
Familiarity with support ticketing systems.
Knowledge of various IT systems and software including AD, InTune, JAMF and M365.
