Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented IT Support Specialist to join our team! In this role, you'll have the privilege of working on the premier Infrastructure project in the Country, as well as receive all of the benefits of working for Parsons! This Program is the most Urgent infrastructure program in the country - a comprehensive set of rail investments that will improve commuter and intercity services, add needed resiliency and, in its later stages, create new capacity between Newark NJ and NYC.

What you'll be doing:

This role is ideal for someone who is excited to learn, grow, and contribute to a modern, cloud-first IT environment. The position focuses on providing excellent user support, assisting with day-to-day IT operations, and learning from more experienced team members.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, a willingness to take ownership of tasks, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

What You'll Be Doing:

 • Provide Tier 1 support for IT systems, including:

  • Windows 11 environments and Dell laptops. o

  • Cisco Meraki infrastructure (basic troubleshooting of switches, wireless access points, etc.).

  • Microsoft 365 services: Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, and Intune MDM.

  • iOS device setup and management using Apple Business Manager.

• Assist with monitoring IT systems and escalating issues to Level 2 support or senior team members as needed.
• Support ticket resolution through Zendesk or similar platforms, ensuring timely responses and accurate documentation.
• Help maintain IT documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and knowledge base articles.
• Perform basic asset management and inventory tracking.
• Promote security best practices and assist with endpoint management.
• Participate in training opportunities to develop technical skills and knowledge. 

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • 1–2 years of IT support experience or equivalent coursework/internship experience.

  • Basic knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange).

  • Familiarity with IT ticketing systems like Zendesk or similar platforms.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • A willingness to learn new technologies and grow within the team.

  • Experience working in a team environment.


What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Exposure to Cisco Meraki systems or similar networking tools.

  • Basic understanding of endpoint management tools like Microsoft Intune.

  • Familiarity with iOS device setup and management.

  • Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA IT Fundamentals+, Microsoft MS-900).

Salary Range: $26.25 - $45.96
