Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 3 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

The IT Strategy and Planning Director is responsible for IT strategic planning, analysis and execution of IT functional plans to ensure growth and performance aligns with the organization's strategic intent.

How you will make an impact:


•    Develop and execute IT strategies at the business unit to execute across the enterprise that align with the business unit priorities and those of IT.
•    Partner with senior planning leaders and executive leadership to create sound multi-year plans with clear planning assumptions and accurate financial insights for the IT function.
•    Monitor and conduct research of related technology and business trends, using data and qualitative performance measures, to advise senior management relative to IT strategy.
•    Translate high-level strategies into clear, executable global delivery roadmaps with defined ownership, SLAs, and success metrics.
•    Conduct external research and engage partners across multiple departments within the broader enterprise, fostering a unified “One Global Team” culture that bridges geographies through collaboration, inclusion, and mutual accountability.
•    Use forecast models and scenario analysis to analyze performance and develop action plans to address emerging market and technological opportunities, accelerating the adoption of automation and simplification opportunities.
•    Drive measurable improvements in delivery quality, speed, and cost efficiency through governance and performance management disciplines, establishing shared KPIs, automation outcomes, and performance dashboards.
•    Create executive reports that decipher complex technical issues, promoting transparency, proactive communication, and timely decision-making across time zones.

Minimum Requirements: 

Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 10 years of experience in Data Collection and Analysis, IT Consulting, IT Performance Management, Strategy or Financial Planning, Business Intelligence and Analytics, or Business Process Design; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:


•    A strong understanding of governance maturity and automation adoption, with the ability to drive operating model transformation is preferred. 
•    Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills across geographies is preferred.
•    Ability to promote cross-partner collaboration, advancing AI-driven operations and integration with innovative delivery frameworks is preferred.
•    Experience improving output-based productivity and reducing vendor dependency, enhancing cross-cultural collaboration and enterprise integration is preferred.
•    Proven record of success leading across India–U.S. models or other global operations centers is strongly preferred.
•    Leadership skills to reinforce enterprise values through every interaction—fostering trust, transparency, and shared ownership is preferred.
•    The ability to achieve governance maturity improvements and operational efficiencies within 12 months is strongly preferred.
•    Experience developing a defined automation roadmap with measurable 30/60/90-day outcomes and ROI is preferred.
•    Experience in increasing stakeholder satisfaction and reducing cycle time for transitions and delivery is preferred. 
•    Experience in healthcare payer operations and digital transformation practices is strongly preferred. 
•    Flexibility to work across U.S. and India time zones to ensure continuous alignment and issue resolution is strongly preferred.
