Major Duties:
Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:1. Attention to Detail2. Customer Service3. Oral Communication4. Problem Solving In addition to experience demonstrating the four competencies above, must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Troubleshooting systems to resolve interoperability problems regarding Command, Control, Communications, and Computers (C4) related programs and services; 2) Developing internal and external policies and procedures to support the command's enterprise strategic plan; 3) Analyzing difficult and complex system and end user problems to determine required resolution; and 4) Performing server administrative tasks (i.e. analyzing/installing server upgrades, performing server diagnostics, monitoring server performance) to optimize system reliability and maintainability. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
