Major Duties:

  • You will serve as the cybersecurity (CS) /information assurance (IA) authorization Subject Matter Expert (SME) within SSP for all Nuclear Weapons Security (NWS) community interactions.
  • You will coordinate, collaborate with, and direct the work effort of personnel from multiple stakeholder organizations engaged in the Nuclear Weapons Security (NWS) enterprise.
  • You will provide oversight of technical and acquisition programmatic elements across the NWS enterprise to include cradle to grave management of NWS cybersecurity people and process requirements.
  • You will develop long term strategic objectives for NWS Project investments in support of future Projects. Working closely with appropriate Division/Branch personnel and support contractors.
  • You will serve as the primary representative to all external organizations with respect to NWS projects. An in-depth working knowledge of the acquisition processes is essential to understand, engage, and leverage NWS investments.
  • You will prepare, present, and defend budget inputs before the SSP Board of Directors (BOD), and external resource sponsors, in support of the NWS strategic plan and SSP Official Schedule Estimate (SPOSE).

Qualifications: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 pay band (GS-13 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing and/or executing long-range mitigation strategies for IT security vulnerabilities supporting the implementation of cybersecurity (CS) / information assurance (IA) requirements for non-enterprise information systems.
