Major Duties:

  • You will serves as the Cybersecurity Director and is a principal advisor and recognized authority on Information Security (INFOSEC) for major Program Executive Office (PEO) and/or Program Acquisition Executive (PAE) portfolios.
  • You will provide technical and administrative leadership to shape the cybersecurity posture of national-level Navy platforms and systems.
  • You will lead the development of authoritative standard processes and procedures for the assigned portfolios, often establishing new concepts and approaches where precedents do not exist.
  • You will direct the planning, coordination, and execution of broad and complex cybersecurity processes for the assigned PEO/PAE.
  • You will apply mastery of advanced IT security concepts, standards, and architectures to provide expert technical advice on critical, previously unsolvable cybersecurity issues.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or DP-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading the development of authoritative standard processes and procedures; Directing the planning, coordination and execution of broad and complex cybersecurity processes; AND Providing technical and administrative leadership to shape the cybersecurity posture of national-level Navy platforms and systems.
