Job Summary: You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the INFORMATION ASSURANCE DIVISION of FLTREADCEN EAST.

Major Duties:

  • You will identify specific IT system protection requirements based on the results of assessments, evaluations, and/or reviews.
  • You will develop and implement programs to ensure that systems, networks, and data users are aware of, understand, and adhere to systems security policies and procedures.
  • You will develop/review information security Certification and Accreditation package artifacts.
  • You will develop system security contingency plans and disaster recovery procedures.

Qualifications: FOR THE GS-11 LEVEL Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Knowledge of enterprise operating systems (e.g., Windows 10/11, Windows Server) and user environment management, including profile troubleshooting, Active Directory, and Group Policy support; 2) Ability to apply cybersecurity principles in a support role, including enforcing security settings, applying patches, and resolving compliance issues in coordination with IA teams; 3) Skill in scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, VBScript) to streamline support tasks such as software deployment, log collection, and workstation configuration; 4) Ability to deliver responsive, courteous, and effective customer service by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and access issues for end users via phone, email, or ticketing systems; 5) Experience configuring and maintaining user-facing resources such as printers, shared drives, and desktop applications, including driver installation, access permissions, and troubleshooting Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
