Job Summary: You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the INFORMATION ASSURANCE DIVISION of FLTREADCEN EAST.
Major Duties:
Qualifications: FOR THE GS-7 LEVEL Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-5 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1( Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems, including basic configuration, user account management, and system troubleshooting; 2) Ability to apply basic cybersecurity practices, including patch management, user access controls, and adherence to system security policies; 3) Skill in using command-line tools and basic scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) to automate routine administrative tasks; 4) Knowledge of fundamental networking concepts such as IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and subnetting; 5) Ability to install, configure, and manage local and networked printers, including driver installation, print queue management, and basic troubleshooting. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. FOR THE GS-5 LEVEL Your resume must demonstrate 3 years of progressively responsible experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least GS-4, that demonstrates the ability to 1) Analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; 2) Plan and organize work; and 3) Communicate effectively orally and in writing. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
