Salary Range: $108019 - $140426 Per Year

Job Summary: You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (ENTERPRISE ARCHITECTURE) with OPTEVFOR.

Major Duties:

  • You will provide expert level advice based on operational and technical experience in the field of enterprise IT management.
  • You will serve as chief architect for short and long-term infrastructure initiatives.
  • You will develop requirements and establish technical standards for hardware, software, peripherals, digital media, and enterprise solutions supporting current and future cyber operations.
  • You will develop and enforce all security requirements for use of 01D IT components on unclassified and classified networks.
  • You will perform life-cycle management functions including developing long-range plans for installation, maintenance, and system end of life mitigation.
  • You will prepare and submit budgetary inputs to the Cybersecurity Director.
  • You will ensure funding requests are compliant with statutory, regulatory, and DoD requirements.
  • You will interpret, monitor, and ensure compliance with DoD and Department of Navy regulations, policies, standards, and procedures.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Functioning as a subject matter expert in network operations; 2) Developing detailed IT project and life-cycle management plans; 3) Developing, managing, and executing IT budgets; 4) Maintaining awareness of advancements in hardware and software technologies; 5) Developing analytical approaches or solutions to problems and situations for which information is incomplete.
