Salary Range: $89508 - $197200 Per Year

OIG is organized into six operational units: the Immediate Office of the Inspector General, Office of the Counselor, Office of Audits and Evaluations, Office of Healthcare Inspections, Office of Investigations, and Office of Management and Administration. In addition to the Washington, DC, headquarters, OIG has offices located in more than 60 locations throughout the country.
Major Duties:
Qualifications: You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience: To be qualified for this position at the GS-14 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience is defined as: - Applying automated data processing standards and techniques such as: data validation, project documentation, program testing, or programming procedures; AND - Employing agile software development methodology to design, develop, deploy, and maintain custom software or business intelligence products; AND - Organizing or establishing training on data analysis principles, methodologies, or techniques to improve efficiency and quality of work; AND - Coaching or mentoring others on problem solving, work methods and best practices in database programming or software engineering; AND - Provisioning, deploying, or utilizing Azure cloud assets such as Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, etc. To be qualified for this position at the GS-13 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience is defined as: -Applying automated data processing standards and techniques such as: data validation, project documentation, program testing, or programming procedures; AND - Employing agile software development methodology to design, develop, deploy, and maintain custom software or business intelligence products; AND - Provisioning, deploying, or utilizing Azure cloud assets such as Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, etc.; AND - Organizing or establishing training on data analysis principles, methodologies, or techniques to improve efficiency and quality of work. To be qualified for this position at the GS-12 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience is defined as: -Applying automated data processing standards and techniques such as: data validation, project documentation, program testing, or programming procedures; AND - Employing agile software development methodology to design, develop, deploy, and maintain custom software or business intelligence products; AND - Provisioning, deploying, or utilizing Azure cloud assets such as Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage, etc. In addition to meeting specialized experience, applicants must also show proficiency in 1) attention to detail, 2) customer service, 3) oral communication, and 4) problem solving. To be found well-qualified, and in addition to meeting specialized experience, the applicant must have documented the following experience: Having a solid and comprehensive understanding of the position. Can perform the required tasks efficiently and is proficient in applying the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the job.
