Join us as an IT SOX Project Manager in Wrocław, Poland, and take the lead in shaping and improving our IT SOX programme. This is a pivotal role where you will ensure robust IT controls and governance that empower senior business leaders with clear, actionable insights. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and want to make a tangible impact on compliance and risk management, this is your opportunity.
What will you be doing?
You will own the end-to-end coordination of our annual IT SOX programme, driving execution and ensuring timely delivery of key milestones. Working with two small teams across the UK, Poland and India, and collaborating with a wide network of control and process owners, you will manage multiple workstreams simultaneously. You will liaise with external auditors and third-party partners, ensuring requirements are met and progress is communicated effectively. Beyond planning and scheduling, you will deliver detailed programme reporting to senior stakeholders, identify KPIs, track performance metrics and present updates to steering committees. Your role will be critical in maintaining governance and improving processes where needed.
What will you need to be successful?
Success in this role means being a confident organiser and communicator who thrives in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment. You will bring strong project management skills and an understanding of IT controls to keep everything on track.
- Several years of experience in project management within an IT environment, ideally with exposure to SOX compliance and IT controls (ITGCS, ITACS, IPE, SOC reports)
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and coordinate with auditors and senior stakeholders
- Professional certifications such as CISA or CIA, and project management qualifications like Prince2 or equivalent are highly desirable
- Strong organisational and communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving ability and the confidence to influence at senior levels
