IT solution architect for Flight Tests means (f/m)

Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Software Architect (m/f) to join our department (Governance & Software Architecture for Test Means Development) based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a Digital team responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of the software suites that enable the Airbus Commercial Aircraft testing community to conduct ground and flight tests for all our products.

Within this organization, you will play a key role as a Software Architect in implementing our strategy to set up  modular solutions and data-centric approaches. 

In this role, you will especially collaborate with flight and ground test specialists to architect software solutions. By mastering the choice of languages, data formats, and protocols, you will contribute to optimize the synergy between embedded software and our digital infrastructure. Your expertise will be key in transforming complex test data into a fluid, integrated, and scalable digital ecosystem.

Your challenges?

  • Act as visionary to proactively assist in defining the direction for future IT Products & Services and validate product designs.

  • Make the link between functional architects and technos specialists.

  • Lead the solution layer of our architectures

  • Participate in all phases of the application development life cycle including prototyping when needed, development, testing, implementation and support.

  • Contribute to align architecture strategy with the organization's business goals and long- term strategic planning


 

Your boarding pass?

  • Professional Experience: At least 5 years of experience in Software Architecture.

  • Previous experience in Embedded Systems.

  • Modeling Standards: Proficiency in modeling languages and standards, including UML, SysML, and ArchiMate.

  • Solid foundation in Data Modeling, with practical knowledge of Apache Kafka and the Sparx ecosystem.

  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C++, and Java.

  • Native French language, Advanced English level

  • Ability and sincere interest for team work

  • Good communications and relational skills

  • Autonomy, adaptability to integrate innovative and emerging technologies
