Operations Technology (OT) Analyst
Job description
An Operations Technology Analyst is a critical member of our organization’s OT team. They focus on the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of technology systems that drive our manufacturing operations in The Americas Region.
Responsibilities
- Deploy, and maintain operational technology systems.
- Monitor and manage operational performance and security.
- Manage and resolve OT service tickets, coordinating with plant personnel to troubleshoot issues.
- Monitor OT alerts and notifications from regional plants; troubleshoot and resolve critical issues promptly
- Respond to operational technology issues in a timely manner.
- Analyze data to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and minimize costs.
- Assess vulnerabilities and implement security controls.
- Write functional requirements / specification documents.
- Collaborate with IT and OT team members as well as 3rd party vendors.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in operational technology.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of related experience in a manufacturing IT environment.
- Significant experience in operations technology, firewall management, and networking protocols.
- Well-developed analytical, investigation and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Industry protocols such as DNP and the use of the Protocol Analyzers to analyze data traffic.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (must speak English), with the ability to work collaboratively with other team members and stakeholders.
- Demonstrates accountability, transparency, and integrity.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Hirschmann and Fortinet products.
- Preferred certifications include CISSP, CCNA, SANS, GSEC, ISC, ISC2, CEH, GCED, and GPEN.
- Good knowledge of Standards (ISO 2700x, IEC 62443, NIST).
Other Factors Relevant to Position:
- Must be located in Mexico
- Must be willing to work off-shift hours as necessary to fulfil job duties
