IT Resilience Product Owner (ransomware component)

As an IT resilience product owner (ransomware component), you’re responsible for the vision for ransomware attacks and for developing and enhancing capabilities related to preparing and recovering from them, including relationships with teams responsible for detecting and responding to them. You guide the entire “IT service continuity” product, with a special emphasis on strategies, processes and tools to help the organization maintain or quickly restore its essential services during a major cybersecurity incident. This role requires an in-depth understanding of cyber threats (especially ransomware), IT dependencies and operational requirements for resilience, as well as excellent analytical, prioritization and decision-making skills. It also requires collaborative leadership that allows you to influence without hierarchical authority, the ability to communicate clearly in high-pressure environments, and a strong sense of organization, discipline, autonomy and proactivity. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Product strategy and vision

  • Define the vision, objectives and roadmap for the “crisis management / IT continuity” product.

  • Assess business needs, risks and added value to guide the development of crisis management capabilities and prioritize features, initiatives and improvements based on added value for the organization.

  • Product life cycle management

  • Develop, update and optimize processes, tools, dashboards and standards related to IT service continuity.

  • Ensure the product complies with regulations, standards and best practices (NIST, ISO, AMF, OSFI ).

  • Define, monitor and improve KPIs related to IT continuity and resilience.

  • Crisis preparation and management

  • Plan, organize and lead technical, organizational and inter-team stress testing exercises.

  • Support the preparation, implementation and continuous improvement of continuity plans, and actively participate in managing major incidents.

  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with IT teams, business teams and governance bodies, while promoting a culture of operational resilience.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • A minimum of eight years of relevant experience

  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

  • Experience in a similar role

  • Knowledge of French is required

  • Knowledge of the following reference frameworks: ISO 22301 – Business Continuity Management Systems, ISO 27000 – Information Security, ITIL / Major Incident Management, NIST / Risk

  • Management, product management methodologies (Agile, SAFe, etc.)

  • Knowledge of IT architecture, application dependencies and critical operating environments

  • Available 24/7 as an on-call advisor with pay
