Job Title: IT Release Manager

Location: Cracow, Hybrid (3 days a week from office)

Job Description:

This role is responsible for governing, coordinating, and assuring the quality of infrastructure-related changes across the organization using ServiceNow. The position plays a key role in ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, operational readiness, and alignment with ITIL-based change and configuration management practices.

Working closely with infrastructure, operations, and project delivery teams, the role acts as a central point of coordination to ensure accurate CMDB data, effective Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes, and high-quality Technical Transition to Operations (TTO) outcomes in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate ServiceNow infrastructure changes for compliance, documentation, and risk assessment.
  • Work closely with Infrastructure teams to ensure right quality of data is maintained in CMDB.
  • Coordinate planning, stakeholder alignment, and execution of infrastructure changes.
  • Participate in Pre-CAB and CAB meetings to ensure readiness and quality.
  • Maintain clean ServiceNow queues and follow up on outdated or blocked changes.
  • Support creation and optimization of change templates and process maturity activities.
  • Act as SPOC for infrastructure-related TTO activities from Project Delivery.
  • Ensure quality of configuration, documentation, and knowledge transfer during TTO.
  • Maintain and update TTO checklists and reporting.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of overall IT experience with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Strong experience in Change, Release, and Configuration Management (infrastructure-focused)
  • In-depth knowledge of ITIL / ITSM processes and ServiceNow
  • Experience coordinating closely with IT service delivery and operations teams to ensure smooth service execution and continuity
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional, multi-vendor environments with diverse stakeholders
  • ITIL® Foundation certification (v3 or v4)
  • PMP® or PRINCE2® certification strongly preferred
  • Agile/Scrum certifications beneficial for hybrid delivery environments
