Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide project management to departments for low voltage installations and network and wireless designs in new construction, departmental moves, and existing space renovations using resources to ensure network connectivity for project completion.
Review construction drawings and ensures adherence to the University Structured Low Voltage Cabling Standards and attends, schedules and/or facilitates meetings related to construction projects.
Monitor and track tasks assigned to others, deliverables and provides project status updates to Manager.
Participate in the development and maintenance of the University’s low voltage structured wiring standards and serves on committee. Stay current with BICSI and industry standards for low voltage and fiber cabling.
Assist Manager in creating/billing of expenses for projects.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Other: The majority of the work is performed in the field, observing construction sites and attending construction meetings. However, some work is performed in an office environment and in an open space among other employees to attend meetings and complete paper work. The position requires frequent use of personal computers and telephones, along with other office equipment such as copiers, scanners and fax machines.
