As an IT Project Management Senior Advisor, you will lead the successful planning, execution, and delivery of strategic initiatives across one or more domains. You bring a holistic perspective—balancing business value, delivery timelines, risk, and cross‑team dependencies—to ensure priorities remain aligned and outcomes are achieved. This role is ideal for a seasoned project leader who thrives in complexity, partners confidently with senior stakeholders, and acts as a catalyst for change.
Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of large, complex strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment to business priorities, value realization, and delivery commitments.
- Assess and balance competing priorities across initiatives or domains, supporting epic and release planning to optimize outcomes within time and resource constraints.
- Develop and maintain domain delivery plans, schedules, dependency maps, and governance structures to support coordinated execution across teams or products.
- Partner closely with Engineering Managers and Domain Technical Product Owners to align delivery plans, manage risks, and resolve complex delivery challenges.
- Facilitate effective collaboration and communication across Technology Product Owners (TPOs), Business Product Owners (BPOs), Domain Owners, Engineers, Scrum Masters, and senior leaders.
- Analyze data and produce clear, actionable reports to monitor progress, identify risks, and inform decision‑making at the initiative and domain level.
- Proactively identify risks, develop mitigation and contingency plans, and drive timely resolution to protect delivery outcomes.
- Prepare and present initiative or domain status updates to cross‑functional IT and business stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to project management processes, governance standards, and documentation expectations.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, strengthening delivery discipline, technical understanding, and use of available tools and resources.
- Support special initiatives and strategic priorities as assigned, contributing to continuous improvement across the planning and delivery organization.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant experience in IT project or program management, or 6+ years with a Master’s degree.
- Demonstrated success leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives with significant business and technology impact.
- Advanced knowledge of project delivery practices, including planning, dependency management, risk management, budgeting, and timeline development.
- Proven ability to coordinate and influence cross‑functional teams toward shared goals in a matrixed environment.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills with the ability to take a broad, strategic perspective.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to senior technical and business stakeholders.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule to support business needs and occasional travel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Project Management, or a related field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Scrum Master certification.
- Experience within healthcare or PBM environments.
- Advanced proficiency with project management and reporting tools, including Microsoft Office applications.
- A growth mindset with the ability to learn domain knowledge quickly and act as a change agent within the organization.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 124,300 - 207,100 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
