About the Role
The IT Product Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring U.S. Venture’s enterprise technology platforms are reliable, secure, and continuously improving. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being the go to expert for a system, balancing hands on administration with collaboration across IT, security, vendors, and business partners.
You’ll work closely with Product Managers and stakeholders to support day to day operations, optimize system performance, and help shape the future of the products you own.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

What You'll Do:

Product Administration & Support

  • Serve as the primary administrator for assigned IT products, configuring and maintaining system settings, user roles, permissions, and integrations.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and execute root‑cause analysis to minimize disruptions.
  • Manage product updates, enhancements, release cycles, and regression testing activities.
  • Maintain system documentation, including configuration changes, standard operating procedures, and knowledge articles.

User Experience & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Provide Tier 2–3 support for end users, ensuring timely resolution of product‑related inquiries.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate needs into system configurations or enhancements.
  • Develop user guides, training materials, and change‑management communications to support adoption.
  • Facilitate training sessions or workshops for new features or major upgrades.

Product Optimization & Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze usage data and system metrics to identify opportunities for improvements or automation.
  • Recommend enhancements that increase efficiency, strengthen data quality, and improve user experience.
  • Collaborate with the IT Product Manager to contribute to product roadmaps and prioritization activities.

Security, Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure product configuration and user access adhere to security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with cybersecurity teams to perform audits, vulnerability reviews, and risk assessments.
  • Maintain strict adherence to data governance and lifecycle management standards.

Vendor & Integration Management

  • Act as a liaison with product vendors, escalating issues and coordinating support as needed.
  • Assist with integration management, including API configuration and monitoring system interoperability.
  • Review vendor release notes, evaluate impacts, and plan for timely adoption of features or fixes.

QUALIFICATIONS

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, or equivalent experience

  • 2–5 years of experience administering enterprise applications or SaaS platforms

  • Strong understanding of system administration, data management, and IT service management

  • Experience with configuration, troubleshooting, and workflow design

  • Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to non‑technical audiences

Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to APIs, data integrations, scripting, or automation (PowerShell, SQL, Python)

  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and change‑management processes

  • Vendor management or project coordination experience
