JOB PURPOSE:
The IT Partner – Technical Delivery, Content Management, is a strategic co-leader in the MarTech Fusion team, partnering with the Director of Impact Delivery to design and deliver technical solutions that enable compelling impact storytelling at scale. This role focuses on solving fragmented data systems, integrating field impact data into Support Office CRM/CDP platforms, and operationalizing on-demand digital pipelines for the 4Ps of impact (Problem, Plan, Progress, Proof). Acting as a product discovery and solutioning partner—not just a technical executor—the IT Partner ensures that technology delivery aligns with business outcomes, accelerates proofs of concept, and drives adoption of impact storytelling tools across the Partnership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Product Discovery & Co-Leadership
Partner with the Director of Impact Delivery to co-lead product discovery, assess technical feasibility, and prioritize solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
Translate Support Office business requirements into actionable technical designs and iterative proofs of concept.
Data Integration & Pipeline Enablement
Lead technical integration of humanitarian impact data with the Universal Data Foundation (UDF) and Support Office CRM/CDP systems.
Design and implement secure, scalable, and automated data pipelines to replace manual “bucket dump” processes.
Impact Storytelling Enablement
Develop technical capabilities that deliver the 4Ps of humanitarian impact (Problem, Plan, Progress, Proof) to Support Offices in real time.
Support Communities of Practice for Impact Storytelling by enabling shared tools and standards.
Emerging Tech & AI/ML
Explore and implement AI/ML solutions for content personalization, data enrichment, and predictive insights to enhance donor engagement.
Governance & Compliance
Ensure all solutions adhere to data privacy, security, and accessibility standards while maintaining operational reliability.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
Lead evaluations, negotiations, and ongoing management of hosting, and integration vendors.
Define and track SLAs, ensuring vendors meet or exceed service commitments.
Facilitate cross‑functional stakeholder engagement, change management, and user enablement programs.
Compliance & Risk Mitigation
Ensure platforms adhere to data privacy (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), accessibility (WCAG), and cybersecurity standards.
Conduct regular security reviews, vulnerability assessments, and disaster‑recovery drills.
KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE:
Required Education, training, license, registration, and/or Certification
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Required Professional Experience
10–12+ years of progressive experience in IT delivery, with 5+ years leading CMS or DAM programs at enterprise scale.
5+ years managing an enterprise content management or digital asset management system.
5+ years in project management, technology implementations, and/or strategic planning roles.
Demonstrated success implementing and operating major content management platforms (e.g., AEM, Sitecore, Drupal, Contentful, WordPress VIP).
Strong understanding of CRM, Marketing Automation, and CDP integrations within a content ecosystem.
Hands‑on expertise with headless/decoupled architectures, microservices, and REST/GraphQL APIs.
Proficiency in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and DevOps toolchains (CI/CD, containerization).
Experience managing global, cross‑functional agile teams and multi‑vendor delivery models.
Excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder‑management skills.
Preferred Professional Experience
Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) degree.
Active engagement in the DAM community (e.g., conferences, working groups, online forums).
Certification in one or more leading CMS/DAM platforms or cloud architectures.
Working knowledge of SEO, digital analytics, and personalization engines.
Experience in nonprofit or mission‑driven organizations.
Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data insights into platform improvements.
