IT Operations Management Technical ConsultantJob Description
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Technical Consultant with strong expertise in Discovery, Event Management, and Service Graph integrations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing IT Operations Management solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
This role requires strong technical implementation skills, experience working with enterprise infrastructure environments, and the ability to collaborate with global teams in Portuguese and English.
Key Responsibilities
· Implement and configure ServiceNow ITOM solutions, including:
o Discovery
o Event Management
o Service Graph Connector Framework
· Design and maintain infrastructure discovery and CI population strategies
· Configure and manage MID Servers
· Develop and optimize event rules, alert correlation, and noise reduction strategies
· Implement integrations using Service Graph connectors
· Ensure accurate CMDB population through Discovery and integrations
· Troubleshoot discovery patterns, probes, sensors, and event ingestion issues
· Configure event rules, alert management, and operational dashboards
· Work with infrastructure teams to onboard monitoring tools into Event Management
· Develop custom scripts and automation within the ServiceNow platform
· Document architecture, processes, and configuration standards
· Participate in technical workshops and solution design sessions
Required Qualifications
· ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITOM
· Strong hands-on experience with:
o ServiceNow Discovery
o Event Management
o Service Graph Connector Framework
· Experience with:
o MID Server configuration and troubleshooting
o Discovery patterns, probes, and sensors
o Event rules and alert correlation
· Proficiency in:
o JavaScript
o ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts)
· Experience integrating monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, SolarWinds, SCOM, Splunk, etc.) with ServiceNow
· Strong understanding of IT infrastructure (servers, network, cloud)
Language Requirements
· Fluent English (written and spoken)
· Fluent Portuguese (written and spoken)
Preferred Qualifications
· ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
· ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITOM
· Experience with:
o Service Mapping
o Operational Intelligence
o AIOps
· Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
· Experience in large enterprise environments
