A position of IT Operation Specialist is open within Airbus India for Information Management (IM) for Airbus Programmes, Customer Engagement & Services. Our mission is to deliver and contribute to innovative IT solutions that support their digital transformation and efficient operations for our Airlines customers.
You will join the Technical data Configuration product in charge of the applications portfolio allowing Airbus and Airlines to author, publish and consult the right Maintenance Information for the right Aircraft depending systems and parts installed on each aircraft.
You will be part of the team in charge of operational activities to secure the run operations especially on Schedule Maintenance and Service Bulletin scope. In this context, your main task is to ensure the set of applications under your responsibility remains up and running and manage all incidents raised by end users: understand and fix issues if possible, involve L3 support (dev team) if needed.
The candidate will have to learn how to maintain Technical Data Schedule maintenance and Service Bulletin applications to support Airbus businesses.
You will be operationally attached to the IM India organization supporting the Technical Data Product Service Line (based in Toulouse, France).Travels Toulouse are likely based on project needs.

Must have skills:
Master Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant field with 5 years of total experience in Information Technology
Capacity to understand technical and operational Systems (SAP, monitoring …) in order to operationally support the applications
Good Knowledge of ITIL management (incidents, changes, problem solving, root cause analysis …)
Manage escalation process in case of crisis situation
5 years Experience in IT development, deliveries and services
Experience in run operations and service-level agreements (SLAs) management
Good communication and collaborative skills and a team-minded attitude
Capacity to understand and learn functional Technical Data Configuration applications
Advanced level of English
Capacity to be proactive to propose solutions
Quick learner who can learn a new technology/skill/application
Good skills in customer satisfaction
Good hands-on experience in the following technologies
ERP: SAP (SAP Hana is a plus), SAP ABAP
Monitoring: Control-M
System : Linux redhat, Storages
Languages : script, Batch, Root cause analysis & understanding in ABAP. Java is a plus
Structured Data: XML
Prior experience working in remote with colleagues based in Europe is an advantage
Responsibilities
Support operational activities to secure Technical data Configuration production in time and Incident management at the level expected (SLA : 99.5%, Mean Time To Resolve incident < 4.3 days,...)
Performs the ITIL based support processes that include incident, problem, change, configuration, and event management.
Analyzes console messages, diagnoses system failures and takes corrective action in order to ensure continuity of operations, escalating to other technical teams as needed.
Reschedule jobs in Control-M (monitoring tool) if needed, Manage Data change requests, execute some tools to maintain the system up-to-date and running on performance and quality.
Check, manage and report on a daily basis incidents rising on the application landscape, in relation with L2 support or L3 development team.
Actively propose improvements to reduce number of incidents and secure applications
Coordinate with all required stakeholders (infrastructure, team leader, L3, business) to investigate, follow-up and deploy fixes in case of incidents.
Follow Data Request process related to incidents scope
Communicate Downtimes status to business and stakeholders
Support projects deployment :
Perform non regression testing
Prepare Entry into Service prerequisites : operational documentation, setup of monitoring in relation with monitoring infrastructure team, Knowledge base update
Report to local technical team leader from Airbus India and to the TechData Configuration product Owner (HO DCTA), and applications owners
Willing to work in European shift timing (i.e. 12:30pm to 9:30pm - IST)

Consistently ensure the respective application SLA and Mean Time To Resolve incident are achieved
Ensure the right level of alerting in case of operational issues with application owners, business partners, technical leaders.

Be engaged and enable the PSL techdata success through a collaborative and innovative mindset
The role will have the following key outputs:
Ensure that Operational documentation are well updated (Knowledge management)
Ensure that all operational reporting (Kpi on incidents …) is updated and well communicated
Ensure that communication is done regarding ongoing operational issues
Strong link with the Airbus IM organization
As a self-organized team, strong collaboration with the Airbus Configuration team based in Toulouse
Proactive in providing guidance & inputs for the operational roadmap
