About the Role

The IT Manager is responsible for the management, performance, and reliability of all information technology systems and networks within the organization. This position provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, and technical direction to ensure systems remain secure, efficient, and compliant with company and site policies. You will manage a team of IT professionals, support technology integration projects, and drive innovation that enhances operational capability and resilience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team to achieve operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee system architecture, performance, and data integrity to ensure high availability and cybersecurity.
  • Manage implementation and integration of new technologies aligned with mission and business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with Risk Management Framework (RMF), ITIL-aligned processes, and site security policies.
  • Collaborate across departments to support organizational goals and provide technical guidance to leadership.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or 10+ years of equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in IT management, systems administration, or network operations.
  • Strong understanding of IT business systems, project management, and team leadership.
  • Familiarity with SCADA networks, RMF, and information security standards.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a customer-focused mindset.

Desirable:

  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CI/SSP, Microsoft, or Linux credentials.

Work Environment

  • Office-based role with periodic physical activity (lifting up to 10kg, kneeling, or walking).
  • Requires focus, adaptability, and the ability to perform under pressure and deadlines.

Security Clearance Requirement

  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Active Top Secret / SCI (TS/SCI) clearance with current Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph (CIP)
  • Must meet and maintain all medical and security clearance requirements
