We are seeking a senior IT and data leader to own the strategy, governance, and delivery of engineering and master data across enterprise manufacturing environments. This role is responsible for ensuring that core data domains such as BOMs, materials, products, and vendors are accurate, governed, scalable, and usable across ERP, PLM, MES, and analytics platforms.
This is a hands-on leadership role that sits at the intersection of IT, engineering, manufacturing, and data governance. The work directly supports operational decision making, plant execution, and enterprise reporting.
Lead the strategy and execution for engineering and master data across enterprise systems
Own data architecture, modeling, and transformation pipelines supporting manufacturing and engineering use cases
Ensure consistency, quality, and governance of core data domains including BOMs, specifications, materials, and vendors
Partner with IT, engineering, manufacturing, and business stakeholders to define data standards and stewardship processes
Support and enable data integration across ERP, PLM, MES, and related enterprise platforms
Oversee reliability, performance, and scalability of production data workflows
Drive best practices in data modeling, testing, documentation, and version control
Lead and mentor analytics or data engineering team members while maintaining delivery accountability
Support enterprise reporting and analytics through well governed semantic and data models
5 or more years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or enterprise data roles
At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or delivery ownership capacity
Strong understanding of master data management principles and engineering or manufacturing data structures
Experience supporting ERP, PLM, MES, or similar enterprise manufacturing systems
Advanced SQL and strong data modeling experience
Familiarity with data governance, lineage, and metadata practices
Experience working in large scale, multi stakeholder enterprise environments
Ability to work on site and collaborate directly with engineering and operations teams
Experience with modern data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric and dbt or equivalent tools
Power BI semantic modeling or similar enterprise reporting layers
Background supporting engineering or manufacturing organizations
Experience with CI CD pipelines and version-controlled data environments
Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages
Experience working in Agile or DevOps delivery models
This role is for practitioners who understand that engineering and master data are operational assets, not just reporting inputs. We are looking for leaders who can translate manufacturing and engineering needs into governed, scalable data solutions that support real enterprise and plant operations.
