Job Description

The IT Security Manager coordinates Prime's cybersecurity engineering and operations and ensures the safety and security of our technology systems. The Manager designs, implements, and maintains policies and procedures related to cybersecurity technology, as well as managing a team of cybersecurity professionals. This role involves working with a variety of cybersecurity tools and technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead an existing team of security engineers focused on executing Prime's highest impact security initiatives.
  • Design, Architect and implement solutions to strengthen our infrastructure and corporate security posture.
  • Manage Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Extended Detection and Response (XDR), Data Protection, Cloud and other IT security controls.
  • Oversee all phases of Vulnerability Management including scanning, reporting, and remediation tracking. Work with IT stakeholders and managed service vendors on remediation planning.
  • Ensure Security Operations tools are effectively utilized and operating efficiently, identify gaps in process or procedure and implement new solutions accordingly.
  • Collaborate with vendors providing security services and technologies to ensure alignment with business needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish key performance indicator (KPI) metrics; track and report on performance; provide reporting to senior management on operations and the state of corporate enterprise security controls.
  • Manage the company's cloud security controls, including AWS and Microsoft 365, to ensure secure access and data protection.
  • Coordinate and manage team workload, staffing requirements, and project assignment roles of resources; provide tools, professional development opportunities, and environment needed for staff to be effective and productive; develop and communicate employee performance objectives and coaching
  • Develop technology strategies to support long-term growth and sustainability
  • Represent and promote IT Security department on planning and development initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 6 years of work experience in Information Technology (IT)
  • 2 years of direct people management experience

Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications

  • Experience working in cybersecurity operations and incident response, to include utilizing Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms, Cloud Security, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Web Application Firewalls, Vulnerability Management and Threat Intelligence applications
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex material to wide range of audiences in plain language
  • Strong problem solving and business analysis skills
  • Ability to multi-task, manage projects, set time frames, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work as team player, comfortable with fast paced, changing environment and ambiguity

Preferred Qualifications

  • PBM / healthcare / regulated market company experience
  • Experience interfacing with executive level of leadership
  • Experience working in and leading teams within a fully remote environment
  • Certification in information security (CISSP, CISM, etc.)
  • strongly preferred

Potential pay for this position ranges from $124,000.00 - $211,000.00 based on experience and skills.
