Job Description

It's exciting times at IT enterprise core technology portfolio, where we are transforming core business functions with leading edge technology. We are looking for a top talented Solution Architect who has the experience leading the solution architecture, design and delivery of complex transformation initiatives
As Solution Architect, M&A Integration (Enterprise Systems), you will be responsible for overall acquisition integration architecture, business process design, solutions, systems and technology architecture. You will lead the overall solution delivery across workstreams on complex initiatives to merge acquired companies into Motorola Solutions enterprise systems and processes, including ERP/CRM systems. You will play a pivotal role, guiding cross functional teams of internal and external resources.


Scope of Responsibilities / Expectations:

  • Provides the overall technical and business architectural direction for the portfolio, program and functional areas

  • Create templates and procedures to use the business processes to map against new projects, acquired companies, new product offerings, and other areas, to improve the quality of architecture decisions for these areas

  • Lead a cross functional team of IT professionals as well as external consultants to deliver high quality solutions through an agile delivery model

  • Using a consultative approach, partner with business and IT workstream leads to run the acquisition integration analysis, create acquisition integration solution blueprints and execution roadmaps

  • Proactively manage acquisition priorities and drive integration design reviews and discussions with IT and Business stakeholders

  • Create standard playbooks that will be used IT-wide for integrating acquired companies and other IT projects

  • Research and determine best solutions for architecture standards, software, and tools

  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT/Business teams (e.g. Application teams, Program Managers, IT partners (onsite/ offshore), testers, Third-party vendors) to understand business requirements and design  end to end solutions 

  • Evaluate short and long-term trade-offs for complex business problems and recommend scalable solutions that can be implemented in a hybrid ERP environment

  • Lead solution design sessions with business partners, system integration suppliers, and other IT teams, translating business rules into requirements and designs.

Desired Background/Knowledge/Skills:

  • Experience with Oracle ERP - Quote to Cash, Procure to Pay, Lead to Revenue and Demand to Deliver processes and underlying architecture is a must.

  • Experience with process and systems integration to Salesforce is preferred

  • Experience with Oracle fusion cloud applications preferred

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional & geographically dispersed teams

  • Ability to build relationships, influence key decision-makers, and collaborate on a cross-functional team comprised of diverse teams, skill sets, and levels of experience

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment

  • Experienced with Agile methodology for project delivery

  • Strong Analytical and people skills and the ability to perceive and analyze problems, develop alternatives, and recommend sound decisions

  • Ability to drive productive conversations,  independently maintain project documentation, drive follow-up on open actions.

  • Very strong team player, able to foster teamwork and a positive working environment

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to deliver commitments while managing multiple priorities

  • Skilled in creating and delivering presentations to all audiences, including senior executives

Target Base Salary Range: $98,100 USD - $160,000 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.

  • Bachelors Degree with 8+ years of experience designing and implementing Oracle e-business Suite applications and Oracle cloud applications
