Korea IT Overview
The Korea IT supports, improves, and operates Thermo Fisher Scientific’s IT systems for users in Korea, and executes related project proposals and implementations. Through support of internal business systems and close collaboration with global teams, the team aims to deliver efficient and effective business enablement. By managing the Korea operations of our core enterprise systems and key business applications that underpin the company’s digital strategy, the team contributes to the success of both individuals and the organization.
Position Summary
This role will support the overall activities within the Core Solution pillar of the Korea IT team, focusing on Business Applications and Governance.
Key responsibilities include assisting with application-related projects, supporting collaboration with global teams, and contributing to the documentation, analysis, and design of business processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities
Provide support for the administration and maintenance of Korea business applications
Participate in business application projects as an Associate Business Analyst
Prepare and organize project and system documentation
Conduct business process analysis and support system design for application operations and development
Assist with the establishment and implementation of business application governance
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other documentation tools
Strong English and Korean writing skills and business-level English communication proficiency
Ability to work proactively and with strong attention to detail
Preferred certifications: PMP, ITIL, ADsP, or other relevant credentials
Basic IT competency with foundational understanding of SDLC, ITIL, etc.
Employment Conditions
Contract Type: 6-month internship (conversion upon evaluation may be possible)
Experience: Entry-level (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree)
Work Location: Suseo, Seoul
Compensation: Company guidelines
