Job Description & Summary
At PwC, our people in information technology operations focus on managing and maintaining the technology infrastructure and systems to provide smooth operations and efficient delivery of IT services. This includes monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing security measures.
Those in IT support at PwC will focus on providing front-line technical assistance and troubleshooting to facilitate smooth functioning of computer systems software and hardware. Working in this area, you will be responsible for providing support to internal and external clients to address and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner through a variety of mediums/channels. The guidance will help to resolve technical issues and maintain efficient IT operations at the L2 up to L4 support levels.
What you’ll do
- Act as 1st level IT Engineer for day-to-day operation (both hardware and application)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to work under pressure.
- Manage and Monitor Wide Area Network, VOIP, Networking Infrastructure such as Wireless Network, Local Area Network (LAN), Virtual Private Network (VPN), Storage system, Payroll.
- Troubleshoot, analyse, diagnose and solve all IT-related issues.
- Prepare and install IT hardware and accessories for users.
- Manage IP Phone System, grant / revoke / support user
- Setup and manage Network Printers
- Assist in Conduct the IT and Security Awareness Induction Training to all new joiner
- Assist in Research / Develop and Deploy a new technology
- Involve in GTS Disaster Recovery Procedure and Process
- Assist IT Manager / Director / Partner for any issues which are assigned.
- Check and Clear own email on a daily basis (business day)
- Open support tickets and raise Global application issues via SNOW ticketing system.
- On-call rotation outside of office hours is required.
- Assist GTS Infrastructure team for the assigned tasks e.g. setup servers, develop standard image of PC)
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and ability to follow security protocols.
- Ability to create and maintain IT documentation for processes and troubleshooting.
- Complete GTS Health check tasks in a timely manner
- 24x7 Helpdesk support via mobile phone as per assignment basis
- Support Digital Transformation team on Digital Lab deployment and management
What you’ll bring

- Strong knowledge of Server / Desktop / Notebook IT equipment hardware.
- Strong knowledge of the Windows Operating System.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Fair in English.
