Department Overview
The IT Helpdesk team provides hands-on experience in providing technical assistance, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and supporting end-users across the organization.
Position Responsibilities
Provide first-level technical support to employees via phone, email, or in-person.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, printers, and network connectivity.
Assist with setting up and configuring laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including account setup and equipment provisioning.
Document support requests, resolutions, and procedures in the helpdesk ticketing system.
Collaborate with IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
Help maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies.
Contribute to process improvement and knowledge base documentation.
Minimum Qualifications
Currently a student earning a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field required.
Must be graduating between May 2026 and August 2027
Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and common software applications.
Familiarity with troubleshooting techniques and customer service principles.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
Desired Qualifications
Experience with helpdesk or ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk).
Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, and remote support tools.
