Iron Mountain is seeking a motivated IT Field Support Engineer to join our Information Technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for the on-site installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of critical computer systems and network infrastructure across our locations. You will serve as the essential hands-on link between our physical sites and global support teams to ensure seamless business connectivity.
Our Information Technology team is a fast-paced, collaborative group dedicated to maintaining high-performance infrastructure and delivering world-class technical support to our global workforce.
In this role, you will:
Lead on-site technical operations by installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware including servers, Nutanix systems, and network devices such as Firewalls, Routers, and Switches.
Collaborate with Global Real Estate project managers and remote Network Engineering teams to design and outfit sites with Information Technology infrastructure following standardized organizational concepts.
Ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards by implementing rigorous network security practices and maintaining accurate documentation of system configurations.
The ideal candidate will have:
3–4 years of experience as an Information Technology Field Service Engineer or in a high-intensity technical support role.
Strong knowledge of network protocols and infrastructure, including Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and Local Area Networks (LAN).
Proven ability in hardware troubleshooting and physical infrastructure deployment, including racking equipment and managing structured cabling.
Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Information/Networking Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Ability to travel domestically up to 80% of the time.
